Accountant II - General Accounting

As an Accountant for Malaysia reporting to Accounting Manager.

Job Requirements

• Coordinate with the company's Financial Solutions Center related to end-to-end transactions
• Analyze monthly financial statements closing and completion of reporting packages, direct and indirect tax related reports for the assigned entities.
• Ensuring necessary controls is complying with company’s finance policies
• Liaison with external auditors and tax agent on statutory audits and tax filing, including preparation of supporting reconciliation and schedules to external and internal parties
• Observe and meeting internal month end and statutory compliance and filing deadline
• Assisting supervisor with ad-hoc task/assignment and participating in regional continuous improvement projects.

What your background should look like

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience
• Working experiences in medium to big size accounting firm or MNC in the trading or distribution sector is a plus.
• Qualified CPA or Accounting degree holder
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Familiar with SAP system
• Familiar with the Malaysian e-invoicing requirements.
