Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
> Data entry & assist in preparing full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliations
> Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules in a timely manner
> Assist in month-end and year-end closing
> Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents
> Assist in audit and tax matters by liaising with auditors and tax agents
> Assist in preparing/review monthly project accounting and review of project costs
> Independently travel to clients’ offices within Klang Valley to perform field work, attend meetings, discussions, and collect accounting documents as required (upon job confirmation)
> Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Fresh graduate/minimum experience in relevant accounting job are encouraged
• Must be able to learn fast
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, or similar systems) will be advantage
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
