Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Executive
The Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, credit risk control, and collections activities to ensure accurate invoicing, timely cash collection, and effective credit management.
This role plays a critical role in safeguarding company cash flow, maintaining customer account integrity, minimising credit risk, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal credit policies, and audit requirements. The position works closely with commercial team to resolve disputes, monitor customer risk, and continuously improve AR processes and controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations, including accurate and timely invoicing, credit/debit notes, and customer master data
Ensure invoicing compliance with pricing, discounts, tax (VAT/SST), and contractual terms
Perform customer credit assessments, set and monitor credit limits and payment terms, and manage credit holds
Monitor AR ageing, unapplied cash, prepayments, and high-risk accounts; escalate issues as required
Lead collections activity, including follow-ups, dispute resolution with Sales, and tracking payment commitments
Support cash flow forecasting with accurate collection projections
Complete month-end AR close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and bad debt provisioning support
Prepare AR analysis, management reports, and audit confirmations
Ensure compliance with credit policies and SOPs, support audits, and drive continuous process improvements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Basic understanding of accounting principles and strong accounts receivable processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Proven experience in a similar role
Must be able to speak, read and write in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
