Description

Accountable and fully responsible for airfreight development and managing airfreight team in 4 offices.

What You'll Do...

  • Accountable for the development of airfreight operations and the management of the airfreight team across Malaysia offices.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with airlines, GSA agents, and warehouse operators.
  • Track and trace with all compliance with IATA and ensuring adherence to payment cycles.
  • Ensure all shipments tendered to the company are handled in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Customer service orientated and result driven.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance, global and local policies with procedures designed to prevent and detect violations of applicable law, regulations, rules and ethical standards by employees, agents and others.
  • Any ad-hoc assignment that have been assigned from time to time.


What You'll Need...

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years similar experience in the Ocean / Air freight industries
  • Knowledgeable in commercial and operational roles in freight management/NVOCC business (Product/Commercial Business Development/Tender Management)
  • Strong external and internal networks related to Ocean/Air freight
  • Proven experience working in a global, matrix business environment
  • Strong commercial mind-set and good product knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills & negotiation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
