Rewards/Benefits
- Handle Cash & Bank operations and month-end closing activities, while supporting ongoing process improvements and seeking guidance from AS Cash & Bank Senior Analyst as needed.
- Clarify accounting issues, review and correct any errors, and help ensure that all records align with IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate and foster positive relationships with internal and external partners, remain attentive to their needs, and help share and promote standard processes.
- Performing daily Cash & Bank transactions and month-end closing activities including timely and accurate bank statement uploads, perform account reconciliations between SAP and bank interfaces, record cash transactions and handle open item clearing, investigate payment rejections and contribute to internal controls and audit processes.
- Responsible for preparing periodic bank reconciliation in line with IFRS, local GAAP and internal guidelines. Ensure accurate and timely financial closing while meeting strict deadlines.
- Responsible for internal controls in Cash & Bank accounting, also participating in internal and external audits by providing timely and qualitative information and resolving queries from the auditors (where applicable for the assigned countries/legal entities and tasks).
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships through respectful, agile, and accountable collaboration.
- Proactive in personal development while contributing to team initiatives and emerging priorities.
- Support management with ad-hoc tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field, or validated experience in Cash & Bank Accounting.
- Some background in Cash & Bank Accounting or Finance Operations is helpful.
- Understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of IFRS.
- Proficient MS-Office skills, especially with MS-Excel; basic SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Experience with transitions and transformation projects is considered beneficial.
- Experience in ERP reporting tool is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for training or workshops, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
