AR Accountant (Junior Credit Controller)

We are looking for an AR Accountant / Credit Controller to support customer collections, manage outstanding receivables, and help improve timely payments. This role works closely with customers, the invoicing team, and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice issues, reduce overdue balances, and support smooth AR operations
What you will do

• Follow up with customers on outstanding AR balances, open invoices, payment status, and overdue collections
• Send payment links, statements, reminders, past-due notices, and prepare accounts for escalation when needed
• Coordinate with the invoicing team to resolve billing issues, invoice disputes, and collection inquiries
• Process incoming payments and perform bank reconciliations in the accounting system
• Support credit reviews, customer credit requests, AR reporting, DSO improvement, and process improvement initiatives
• Work with AR tools and ERP systems, such as Billtrust / IController and Microsoft Dynamics / FIO
• Support other AR or finance-related tasks when required

Your profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AR, credit collection, finance, or accounting
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders globally
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to manage high-volume collection activities
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently with a positive team attitude
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with FIO, IController, Billtrust, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP / AR systems
• Exposure to AI tools, automation, or finance process improvement
• Experience working in a multinational or shared service environment
