In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assembly & Testing
- Assemble actuators, valve bodies, yoke mounts, and perform pilot mounting and calibration according to specifications.
- Assemble valve components and actuators in compliance with approved work instructions, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Perform required testing in accordance with test procedures, including integrity, seat leakage, and hydrostatic tests.
- Inspect assembled products, identify defects, and perform rectification as required.
- Ensure all production activities meet defined quality standards.
- Safety, Quality & 5S
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with 5S and safety requirements on the production floor.
- Demonstrate strong quality awareness and follow all quality procedures and standards.
- Teamwork & Support
- Support fellow assemblers in daily production activities and foster positive working relationships.
- Actively support company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- You are a hands-on and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing quality work. You enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, follow instructions carefully, and understand the importance of safety, quality, and teamwork. You are reliable, willing to learn, and committed to contributing to production goals and customer satisfaction.
- You work well with others, communicate clearly, and are comfortable supporting your teammates to achieve daily targets. You take ownership of your work, pay attention to detail, and continuously look for ways to improve how tasks are performed.
- Minimum SPM qualification (SKM or Diploma is an added advantage).
- Preferably 1 year of experience in isolation valve assembly, servicing, or maintenance OR 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or maintenance (e.g. automotive or engineering industry).
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate basic English, including interpreting work instructions, assembly drawings, and sketches.
- Strong awareness of quality and attention to detail.
- Physically fit for production work, with no history of hand deformity or back pain.
- Basic knowledge or experience with Oracle and RFID systems is an advantage.
