Assistant Brand Manager (Global Market)
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Develop, establish, and execute marketing strategies and consumer communication initiatives in the international market.
- Develop marketing programs and global activities to improve brand image.
- Develop disruptive best in class digital, social marketing and trade plans for brand execution and new brand launches.
- Demonstrate effective management of marketing, advertising and promotional activities to ensure consistency with brand strategy.
- Develop innovative growth strategies – take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to.
- Build brands rapidly, by ensuring the brand is relevant and speaks to the consumers at the heart of their lives and interest. Maximize Digital Marketing to ensure efficiency of spend while building relevance amongst consumers we speak to.
- Translate brand strategies into brand plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify business opportunities and key issues through market trends analysis, competitor reviews, sales data and market research results.
- Gather market intelligence – Monitor all key initiatives as well as key trends in the international market (category, consumer, competitor, customer).
- Maximizing the use of data tools to drill and ensure understanding of market & consumer (AC Nielsen, Kantar TNS, MWB).
- Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate to create and evaluate productiveness and marketing initiatives ROI.
- Track A&P budgets and spends – towards maximizing gains and reducing costs.
- Prepare reports on brand performance and sales.
- Work closely with factory and R&D for product development, packaging and consumer testing to craft out opportunities and optimizing existing product mixes for launch in market.
- Establish effective working relationships with cross functional teams to develop Brand Building and Trade execution plans to be executed in market.
- Work closely with Agencies & Supplier to establish impactful brand plans for impactful execution in market.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant studies.
- Min 3 – 5 years of work experience in Brand Management/consumer marketing preferably from FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills and able to work in fast paced organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience or exposure in New product development (NPD) is a must.
