We invite high-calibre candidates to fill the Assistant Commercial Manager position in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Job Duties

• Support commercial planning and monitoring of project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project cash flow, including client payments and subcontractor/supplier obligations.
• Assist in commercial negotiations with clients and manage contractual variations and notices.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier procurement, contract administration, and performance monitoring.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years of commercial or quantity surveying experience on construction projects of similar size and complexity.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, risk management, and cash flow monitoring.
• Experience in managing client, subcontractor, and supplier commercial matters.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
