Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Marketing & Communications in executing the hotel’s marketing and communications strategies to enhance brand positioning and drive Rooms, F&B, and ancillary revenue.
  • Translate strategic objectives into well-planned campaigns, content calendars, and marketing initiatives with clear deliverables and timelines.
  • Oversee the execution of digital marketing activities across social media, CRM, and online platforms in collaboration with regional and corporate teams.
  • Lead content development including photography, videography, and copywriting to ensure engaging and on-brand storytelling.
  • Support public relations initiatives including media engagement, press releases, influencer collaborations, and brand reputation management.
  • Monitor campaign performance, digital analytics, and online guest feedback, ensuring timely responses and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and guest touchpoints in line with Shangri-La brand standards.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the Marketing & Communications team to ensure operational excellence and team growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications, preferably within hospitality or a luxury environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance and marketing data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A proactive team player with leadership capability and a passion for hospitality.
