Assistant Terminal Manager (Sabah)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe, efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of bulk petroleum products in accordance with operational and safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of terminal facilities, equipment, and delivery systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate terminal facilities in line with established operating standards, including IMS, POIMS, PQMS, and control requirements (ILC).
• Coordinate and implement Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) practices in compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance works, improvement projects, and operational activities to ensure smooth terminal operations.
• Monitor and continuously improve the performance and competency of terminal personnel, including contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including the OSH Act by DOSH and Environmental Quality Act (DOE).
• Manage and support key certification and continuous improvement programs (e.g., IMS, MSOSH, PMHA, 5S/QE), including maintaining documentation, conducting training and supporting internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in petroleum terminal, plant operations or a similar industry.
• Good knowledge of plant operations including safety standards, operational control and company procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in managing teams and coordinating operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issue.
• High level of responsibility, commitment and dedication to work.
• Willing to be based at Sepangar Bay Terminal, Sabah
