About the Role

We are seeking Audit Associates and Seniors to join the Johor team. You will be responsible for executing audit engagements from planning to completion, with excellent mentorship and career development opportunities.

Job Description

• Assist in client acceptance procedures, including risk assessments and preliminary analytical reviews.
• Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with approved audit plans and established methodologies.
• Perform audit procedures such as sampling, testing, and preparation of Audit Working Papers (AWPs).
• Identify audit issues, conduct research, and communicate findings to clients and engagement teams.
• Monitor engagement progress, ensure timely task completion, and follow up on review notes.
• Highlight potential risks, control weaknesses, or inefficiencies during audit engagements.
• Maintain complete and accurate audit documentation in compliance with auditing standards.
• Support the audit team in delivering high-quality services within agreed timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Audit Manager or Partner.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, recognised by MIA).
• Associates: Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
• Seniors: Minimum 2–3 years of audit experience with team leadership exposure.
• Familiarity with MFRS and audit practices is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required to handle Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
