This role will primarily support Total Rewards benefit programs in Singapore (LRSEA), with a focus on program design, policy, governance, analysis, vendor management, and employee communications. The role will partner closely with HR Shared Services, which manages day-to-day administration, and may also support Malaysia benefits programs as business needs evolve. From time to time, the role may participate in broader Total Rewards projects, including compensation-related work. This is a full-time position based in Malaysia and reporting directly to the Total Rewards Manager.

What You’ll Do

Main Responsibilities

  • Supports Total Rewards programs primarily in the benefits space for Singapore (LRSEA), with potential support for Malaysia as scope expands.
  • Partners with HR Shared Services and other stakeholders on benefit program delivery, with primary focus on program design, policy, governance, and continuous improvement rather than day-to-day administration.
  • Uses internal and external data to support market benchmarking, cost analysis, policy reviews, and recommendations on program design and competitiveness.
  • Supports benefits governance and compliance through documentation, audits, review of plan or policy terms, and alignment with company policies and local requirements.

Other Responsibilities

  • Supports benefit program reviews, renewals, and implementation of plan or policy changes in partnership with HR Shared Services and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepares analyses, presentations, and materials to support management review, decision-making, and employee communication.
  • Partners with vendors and internal functions, including Procurement and Legal, on contracting terms, policy interpretation, and implementation support where needed.
  • Supports employee education, issue resolution, and change management activities for new or revised Total Rewards programs.
  • May participate in broader Total Rewards projects, including compensation-related initiatives, based on business priorities and team needs.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in benefits, total rewards, or a related HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits design, policy, vendor management, compliance, and market benchmarking, preferably within multinational, high-technology, and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated English language verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; demonstrated ability to effectively utilize HR Information Systems; experience with SuccessFactors and/or Workhuman a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic; ability to interface effectively with employees across cultures.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail; ability to translate analyses into concise and clear management reports/presentations.
  • A passion for accuracy and problem solving, with a sense of urgency.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
