About the Role

An experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will lead requirements gathering activities, facilitate stakeholder discussions, prepare project documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business and digital transformation projects.

In this role, you will:

• Lead requirements gathering workshops and engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and project objectives.
• Analyse, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical solutions.
• Prepare high-quality project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, process flows, and other project artefacts.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, technical consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support pre-sales, proposal, and tender activities by analysing customer requirements and contributing to solution design and business proposals.

About You - Applicants must be local Malaysian to be considered for this role.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in business process analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on large-scale digital transformation initiatives, particularly within government, utility, or enterprise environments. You possess excellent documentation skills, can effectively bridge business and technical teams, and are committed to delivering solutions that create meaningful business value.

You will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geographical Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise software, digital transformation, or system implementation projects.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation using Jabatan Digital Negara KRISA-compliant templates and formats, with proven capability in producing high-quality requirements, design, and project governance artefacts for public sector initiatives.
• Experience in Government, Utility, Water Utility, GIS, Smart City, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in services and project delivery is preferred.
