Position: CCUS / Hydrogen Specialist
Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
Contract Duration: Short Term

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in hydrogen technologies and carbon capture solutions
• Support technology evaluations and strategic decision-making
• Participate in discipline workshops to support project deliverables approval
• Review and prepare project documentation related to CCUS and hydrogen technologies
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical input
• Review and approve engineering deliverables (datasheets, specifications, PFDs, P&IDs, vendor documentation)
• Evaluate hydrogen production pathways including green and blue hydrogen
• Assess carbon capture technologies and integration with energy systems
• Support FEED and feasibility studies
• Benchmark technology performance and cost
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards
• Interface with client, EPC contractor, and authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Registered with BEM or recognized professional body, or equivalent certification/experience in CCUS or hydrogen technologies
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in:
  • Hydrogen production technologies
  • Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS)
  • Process design and energy transition technologies
• Based in Sarawak or eligible for Sarawak working permit

Additional Information

• Full-time on-site role in Kuching (no remote work)
• Candidates will be required to support activities at client and stakeholder locations when needed
• Candidates are expected to use their own working equipment (laptop/software)
