Responsibilities
- To carry out routine inspections, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance on all switchboard, circuit breakers, transformers switch gears and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, MSB room and genset room.
- To liaise with utility provider and regulatory body such as TNB and Suruhjaya Tenaga on utility service and compliance issue.
- Responsible as 11kv high tension chargeman. Prepare, plan, coordinate, implement & monitor the preventive, predictive, condition monitoring and breakdown maintenance of electrical supply & distribution.
- Responsible for the safety and proper operation of high-tension power supply.
- To carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machineries and equipment.
- To liaise with the solar system manufactured company to review the solar energy system maintenance guidelines and any other compliance issue.
- To monitor and record daily input and output reading solar system power generation and power usage and provide a report to the superior.
- To plan, prepare, coordinate, implement, and monitor the list of maintenance and preventive maintenance checklist of the factory solar energy system.
- To carry out inspections, repairs, corrective and preventive maintenance for the solar energy system including all battery, solar panel, wiring and connections, inverter, control panel system, solar panel roof platform and PV panel.
- Liaise, supervise, and monitor external contractor’s works and make sure all jobs carry out by contractor are compliance to Electrical Supply Act and regulation.
Requirements
- Electrical Power Engineering Professional Certificate.
- Chargeman BO 11kv.
- Technical skills in High Voltage Chargeman.
- Computer knowledge is required – Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skill and an analytical mind.
- Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
