Position Summary
The SAP Cloud Data Management Consultant designs and implements scalable data solutions across the SAP cloud ecosystem. The role translates business and analytics requirements into integrated data architectures, models, pipelines, and reporting solutions.
The position requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP data platforms, basic knowledge of data management on Microsoft platforms, and the ability to independently develop technical concepts and architectures.
Key Responsibilities
The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and serves as a subject-matter expert for SAP Cloud Data Management. The position provides technical guidance, develops architecture standards, and supports strategic data and analytics initiatives.

Position Summary
The SAP Cloud Data Management Consultant designs and implements scalable data solutions across the SAP cloud ecosystem. The role translates business and analytics requirements into integrated data architectures, models, pipelines, and reporting solutions.
The position requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP data platforms, basic knowledge of data management on Microsoft platforms, and the ability to independently develop technical concepts and architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design data concepts and architectures for SAP and cloud-based environments.
- Develop data models and semantic layers in SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
- Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP sources.
- Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and data flows.
- Develop analytical models, stories, and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data models and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, consultants, and engineering teams.
- Support testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- Several years of experience in SAP data management, data architecture, analytics, or data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BTP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, or BW/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, semantic layers, and cloud data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and enterprise data management.
- Basic knowledge of data management concepts and data structures on Microsoft platforms.
- Ability to independently design and implement complex data solutions.
- Strong analytical, consulting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Very good command of English.
- Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Broader knowledge of the Microsoft technology environment and relevant Microsoft products.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, or related Microsoft data services is an advantage.
- Understanding of end-to-end data flows from databases and source systems through data platforms to reporting and visualization solutions.
- Experience integrating SAP and Microsoft data landscapes.
- Familiarity with Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or AI-ready data concepts.
- Relevant SAP, Microsoft, or cloud certifications.
