Contributing to the implementation and realization of Continuous Improvement programs within an assigned production site through advising, guiding and coaching employees to ensure that they are able to independently improve their performance through the Our Way of Working (OWOW) practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Analysis
  • Performing (root-cause) analyses in line with the operational problem solving methods and procedures and on behalf of the OPEX Manager/Production Manager in order to identify trends and provide insight into underlying causes.
  1. Improvement programs
  • Drawing up allocated improvement programmes based on analyses carried out and OWOW methods and procedures, in line with the CI in order to promote OWOW implementation. Participate in and monitor the progress of improvement teams and, if necessary, adjust process-wise to ensure that the improvement team achieves the set objectives through the OWOW practices.
  1. Coaching and Training employees
  • Organizing and giving OWOW related substantive training to ensure that the employees of the assigned plant have the necessary OWOW knowledge and skills. Support, coach and train employees on a daily basis (including during Daily Control meetings) so that they see 'on-the-job' and learn how to use the OWOW guidelines and working methods.
  1. Reporting
  • Recording the progress and outcomes of the OWOW and other OPEX programs as well as identifying and escalating deviations in order to provide insight into developments / progress and the possibility for data subjects to take timely adjustment measures.
  1. Process improvements
  • Contributing to the establishment of OWOW systems and structures as well as identifying improvement opportunities within in line with the OWOW Roadmap and annual plans to further professionalize the field.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the assigned plant and make proposals to the plant manager to ensure that the processes are streamlined and production is maximized.

Job Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, products, procedures, and systems.
  • Good communication, analytical, and change management skills, with the ability to drive and secure improvements.
  • Preferably Six Sigma Green Belt certified, with a proven track record in delivering manufacturing improvement projects.
