Job Description
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations by reviewing financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant documents.
- Prepare detailed credit reports outlining the risks associated with each borrower and make recommendations regarding approval or rejection of loan applications.
- Monitor the performance of existing loans in the portfolio, including tracking payments and identifying potential problems early on.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to credit analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy, economics, or another relevant field.
- Minimum two years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in a commercial bank.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with specialized lending programs such as SME financing would be advantageous.
