Customer Service & Logistics Manager SEA

We are now looking for a Customer Service & Logistics Manager, SEA. This position is located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

What You Will Do

  • Execute customer contact strategies across SEA to ensure high service quality, engagement, and customer retention
  • Lead and coach local Customer Care teams, managing workflow processes and conducting performance reviews
  • Handle escalated customer complaints regarding delivery times or product quality, providing prompt and satisfactory solutions. Act as the primary liaison between regional clients, sales teams, and supply chain departments to optimize the end-to-end shipping experience
  • Oversee the storage, transportation, and distribution of goods efficiently to minimize costs and meet deadlines
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with 3rd-party hauliers, warehouses, and freight forwarding agencies. Conduct RFQ annually as per UPM guideline
  • Oversee and guide all finishing planning activities in SEA. Manage OTIF and reporting. Ensure no shortage or over stock. Lead and optimize SEA logistics operations
  • Ensure on-time customer deliveries and cost-effective supply chain management. Oversee planning, warehousing, inventory, import/export, and transportation activities
  • Manage logistics partners, suppliers, and 3PL providers. Drive KPI improvements, operational efficiency, and warehouse performance. Ensure safety, inventory accuracy, and team development across the SEA region. Develop team capabilities and working processes to improve performance

Who You Are

  • You have University degree at the bachelor level or above
  • You major in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering. Other majors are considered based on type and duration of relevant experience
  • You have minimum 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain management
  • You are fluent in English & Bahasa, written and spoken, is required. Other languages are a plus
  • You are competent with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Other applications knowledge is a plus
  • You have positive attitude and ability to collaborate across boundaries in a cross functional team. And you desire to work in a global, cross functional team. You are a good Communicator at all levels and has a good foundation of interpersonal skills
  • You have good practical knowledge of Microsoft office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. You have the ability to analyse and solve problems in a logical manner. You are self-motivated and also with the ability to motivate others
  • You are able to negotiate, work and effectively communicate with a varied range of Internal and External stakeholders
  • You have Supply Chain Management Certification as a plus
