Contract type: Full time

The Digital Business Partner acts as the strategic interface between Backend Factory operations, Supply Chain, and Digital/IT teams. This role translates operational challenges into structured digital demand and ensures that solutions delivered through data, analytics, and AI create measurable business value.

You will be responsible for shaping and orchestrating the digital transformation roadmap for Backend Factories and Supply chain, ensuring alignment between business priorities and IT delivery, and driving adoption of digital solutions on the shop floor. The role is key in enabling scalable, data-driven operations and ensuring sustained value realization from digital investments.

What You Will Do

  • Orchestrate the development and continuously refine the multi-year digital roadmap for factories and local supply chain operations

  • Translate operational challenges and bottlenecks into structured, prioritized digital and IT demands

  • Facilitate discovery workshops with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams

  • Evaluate and consolidate incoming requests based on business value and digital strategy alignment

  • Own and manage the end-to-end demand intake and prioritization process

  • Develop business cases, value definitions, and high-level functional requirements

  • Act as the bridge between shop floor operations and IT delivery teams

  • Align stakeholders across factory leadership, supply chain, and IT on priorities and trade-offs

  • Manage expectations and resolve cross-functional conflicts at plant and leadership level

  • Drive standardization of data, processes, and digital practices across factories

  • Define and execute adoption strategies for digital and AI solutions

  • Identify adoption risks and implement enablement and communication actions

  • Build and support local champions to sustain behavioral and process change

  • Support IT teams by providing clear priorities, context, and expected outcomes

  • Run governance routines to track progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status

  • Monitor post-implementation performance against KPIs such as OEE, scrap rate, and financial impact

  • Ensure delivered solutions achieve expected business value and prevent regression to manual processes

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES, SCADA, and PLC

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working closely with shop-floor operations

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Business Partnering, Product Ownership, or similar roles

  • Strong experience in business relationship management, demand governance, and stakeholder alignment

  • Proven ability in business analysis, requirement definition, and business case development

  • Understanding of data, analytics, and AI applications in manufacturing environments

  • Knowledge of structured change management principles and industrial KPIs (e.g., OEE, scrap, ROI)

  • Experience translating operational challenges into digital and IT requirements

  • Experience driving adoption and value realization of digital solutions post-implementation

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work across operational, technical, and leadership teams effectively
