Job Summary
The Document Control Specialist supports the engineering and manufacturing teams by producing and maintaining document control processes in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for processing engineering changes, maintaining BOM accuracy, and ensuring all controlled documents and product records meet applicable quality and regulatory standards.

Job Summary
The Document Control Specialist supports the engineering and manufacturing teams by producing and maintaining document control processes in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for processing engineering changes, maintaining BOM accuracy, and ensuring all controlled documents and product records meet applicable quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain Lead frame Bonding Diagrams, POD drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) structures within the PLM system, ensuring alignment between engineering drawings and associated part records.
- Link engineering drawings, specifications, Gerber files and supporting documents to the appropriate part records and BOM levels within the PLM database.
- Manage document revision control processes, ensuring all drawings and documents are updated, approved, and released in accordance with established change control procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve document control workflows, and PLM data management practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- AS or related technical degree and / or +1 years related work experience.
- Drafting experience, using Autodesk/AutoCAD or related software preferred.
- Experience processing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and related change control documentation.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) structures in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems for part number management, BOM maintenance, and document control workflows.
- Necessary computer skills include Microsoft Office.
- Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface with others within the organization, possessing a thorough written and verbal command of the English language.
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
