Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechatronics or any equivalent engineering discipline.
- Candidates with experience in SMT, PCB assembly or semiconductor manufacturing will have an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes, machine programming, ECN, and PCB assembly is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Review and evaluate products, samples, engineering drawings, and specification requirements, and conduct feasibility studies on manufacturing technologies.
- Act as the project champion for new product introduction (NPI) and product transfer projects until full production implementation.
- Liaise and coordinate with customers and cross-functional departments on new product and project development.
- Update Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and feeder setup lists to ensure accurate production documentation.
- Plan and optimize production processes to achieve efficient manufacturing at the most economical cost.
- Plan the sequence of operations and determine the appropriate machines and equipment based on production workload and capacity.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
