Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the plastic injection moulding or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, engineering project management, and new product development (NPD).
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documents.
- Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Candidates are willing to work at Senai, Johor.
- Lead and coordinate engineering projects, including technical studies, product design, specification preparation, technical planning, and product testing activities.
- Plan and execute engineering programs to ensure projects meet customer requirements, product quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee new product development (NPD), including process improvement, feasibility evaluation, and project implementation activities.
- Coordinate with customers and cross-functional departments to resolve engineering, design, and production-related issues effectively.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, design changes, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, departmental performance, and project budgets to achieve operational and business targets.
- Prepare project progress reports, technical reports, and management updates from time to time.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the engineering team while overseeing overall departmental operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
