Facilities Manager - Data Centre's

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations within a live data centre environment. This is a key site-based role responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in line with strict service and compliance standards.

You will act as the on-site lead, working closely with clients, engineering teams, and vendors to maintain uptime, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing as our Facilities Manager:

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations in a critical data centre environment
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Coordinate activities across power, cooling, fire systems, security, and BMS
• Act as the primary client interface, providing updates, reporting, and escalation
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and specialist vendors ensuring compliance and safety
• Maintain documentation, compliance records, and asset registers
• Lead incident response, risk management, and operational improvements
• Ensure all activities meet health & safety, compliance, and service standards
  
  

What we’re looking for in our Facilities Manager:

• Experience in data centre, critical environment, or technical facilities management
• Strong understanding of day two operations, maintenance, and service delivery
• Knowledge of critical systems (power, cooling, fire, BMS, security)
• Proven experience managing contractors and vendors in live environments
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance
