Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook sushi rice according to established standards.
  • Slice and prepare fish and other ingredients for sushi.
  • Assemble various types of sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sushi station.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
  • Monitor inventory of sushi ingredients and supplies.
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a sushi cook or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in preparing sushi rice and slicing fish.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good knife skills and understanding of different fish types.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
