We develop rules-based software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, kitchen and material handling industries. You’ll join a team developing and maintaining web applications and cloud services that bring together Configura’s customers, manufacturers, partners, and users. Our platform plays a central role across Configura’s software, supporting access, collaboration, and the management of accounts, licenses, and product content. You’ll contribute to front-end development and the back-end services that our software relies on, building new features, improving existing applications, and keeping these services reliable.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, maintain and support cloud-based applications with a focus on usability and performance.
• Collaborate in an agile team with developers, product owners, product managers, QAs, and UX designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure seamless cross-product integration by working closely with other teams.
• Build client-facing applications that power the entire product lifecycle – from build and release to user access, licensing and governance.
• Plays a key role in the backbone and integration that keeps our systems connected across different products.
• Write, maintain, and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Manage and maintain our CI/CD pipeline for smooth releases.
• Research, analyze, and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  
  

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science or equivalent, with extensive relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years' experience as a full-stack web developer or similar role.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and improve.
• Strong programming fundamentals, with experience in modular, service-oriented development and a good understanding of clean code, SOLID, and OOP principles.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle different technical challenges.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Technical stack:
• JavaScript libraries/ frameworks
• Backend: Node.js, preferably NestJS, with experience in RESTful API development and willingness to work with Perl.
• Frontend: preferably React or Angular
• Typed programming languages, preferably Typescript or Rust
• Cloud-first DevOps, preferably AWS, with hands-on experience using Docker and containerized applications.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational database best practices.
• AI-Assisted Development: Familiarity with Generative AI tools, with the ability to critically review, understand, and validate AI-generated code.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably Scrum, is a plus.
