Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.
- Responsible for monthly closing activities for Business Groups
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Closing & reporting of Fixed Asset
- Preparation & posting of journal entries for Business Groups
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation reports example, fixed assets register.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting, audit requirements and control procedures.
- Coordinate & support the quarterly and statutory financial audit.
- Support root cause analysis of performance issues and support resolution via collaboration with internal customers.
- Drive continuous process improvements.
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SAP system is an added advantage.
- Possess good analytical skills, interpersonal skills, independent and self-initiative.
- Able to work in Georgetown, Penang.
- Ability to read and write Chinese is required.
