HALAL EXECUTIVE (RETAILS)

Responsibilities: To lead/be in charge of Halal certification and renewal applications; verify raw materials according to Halal standards, ingredients and suppliers for Halal Integrity; ensure store operations, products and etc comply with JAKIM/JAIS/local religious authority policy and compliances; manage Halal certification process, conduct internal Halal compliance audit; oversee staff training to maintain strict Halal regulations; conduct random check on store operations to ensure strict adherence to Halal SOPs; act as the main point of contact for audits and inspections by JAKIM/JAIS or local Islamic department; to maintain and update the Halal Assurance System (HAS) files and records.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Halal Management or Shariah.
• 1-3 years experiences in Halal Compliance or Quality Assurance in FMCG, F&B and retail industry. Salary RM3K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
• Possession of a Professional Halal Executive Certificate recognized by Jakim is a major advantage.
• Understanding of MS 1500, MHMS 2020 & MPPHM Domestic 2020 and familiar e-Halal System.
• Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently.
