The Head of Integrated Communications is accountable for the development and implementation of corporate communication strategy, plans and content to support global and local communication objectives. This person plays a key role in the delivery of communication activation plans that aim to develop a positive reputation for Ericsson support business objectives and improve employee engagement.

Join our Team

  • Translating company strategy and business plans into clear and effective communication plans and messages, aligned to global communication strategy.
  • Responsible for communicating with key audiences, including employees, media and other external audiences.
  • Adapt (localize) or design and deliver messages, content, collateral and products that ensure effective activation of plans that are aligned with the business's key priorities.
  • Manage owned internal and external channels for communicating with target audiences.
  • Plan, activate and manage proactive and reactive local, Swedish and/or global news flow both internally and externally.
  • Manage the local media in Bangladesh , Sri Lanka and Malaysia to deliver effective results in non-owned channels.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure timely, effective, and on-budget campaign delivery.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to executives, managers, spokespeople and other leaders.
  • Identification of reputation opportunities and risks for the Company, internally and externally, and execute on initiatives to mitigate risks.
  • Build, develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with other business areas, group functions and market areas.
  • Network with internal stakeholders to 'mine' for story ideas for internal or external promotion.
  • Track and measure impact of activations and adjust as needed.
  • Report on results of activations, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Leads issues management and crisis management.
  • Manages relationships with industry analysts.

The Skills You Bring

  • University degree in business, marketing, communications or social sciences.
  • Membership of national/international chartered marketing or communications professional body
  • Experience working in a matrix business environment, a client service organization or within media environment.
  • Exposure to international markets and understanding of cultural differences.
  • Working with/for senior stakeholders.
  • Management, leadership, coaching and developing.
  • Managing budgets and third-party resources.
  • External communication experience.
  • Interest/experience in market situation, trends and players in the ICT sector and its eco-systems.
