Job Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and improving all key network KPI’s which directly impacts the network’s reliability and stability on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis to ensure customer satisfaction by constantly managing the converge network (Mobile, Transmission, Enterprise, FTTX and 5G) at its most optimum level.
- Supporting sites roll out projects in order to gain coverage and dominance to in turn support Business Division’s growth as per the agreed AOP or when deemed necessary by expanding network footprints and capacity
- Supporting technology development projects from core to RAN in order to meet the evolving network technology by providing inputs, resources planning, executions and all necessary support required
- Improving quality of network to provide Unmatched Customer Experience (UPE) that would allow for improved sales and revenue generation via expanding its customer base and its network reliability (“Always On”) by constantly improving on customer experience drivers and minimizing network downtime
- Constant and reliable communications with Business Units to understand its needs which are unique to regions and translate them towards the network’s outputs by utilizing all resources and applications/tools available in managing the network drivers
- Ensuring AOP expenditures are met without fail as part of the company’s growth by instilling, monitoring, managing and conjuring the necessary impact points on the division’s OPEX and CAPEX
- Ensuring support to external governance bodies ie SKMM and local councils on all issues related within its regional boundaries by providing immediate and direct liaison, inputs and functional presence when called upon
- Managing OLO support and focus group in regions on a continuous basis to ensure network cooperation and resiliency alternatives when needed by directly being involved in discussions and providing inputs as well as triggering the necessary parties participations and inputs
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications network operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in mobile network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and associated infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of network performance monitoring tools, troubleshooting techniques, and optimization strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, budgets, and complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, make critical decisions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the Sabah region's geographical challenges and regulatory landscape is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Sabah as required.
