You’ll make an impact by:
- Driving Revenue & Pipeline Accountability: Own assigned Japanese accounts end-to-end, building and converting a robust opportunity pipeline to deliver against defined revenue and order intake targets.
- Executing Digital-First Selling: Run structured virtual customer engagements, leveraging CRM and sales intelligence tools to identify buying signals, conduct qualification conversations, and close business through disciplined value articulation.
- Strategic Account Penetration: Develop and execute account penetration strategies to identify key decision-makers across SME and mid-sized industrial accounts, increasing share of wallet and building long-term partnerships.
- Leading Value-Based Conversations: Sell outcomes – productivity, efficiency, and scalability – rather than just products. Confidently handle objections and position Siemens as the primary technology partner.
- Maintaining High-Performance Discipline: Maintain strong sales hygiene, including accurate forecasting, structured weekly planning, and data-driven decision-making to ensure consistent follow-through and accountability.
Your defining qualities:
- Engineering Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or IT.
- Digital Sales Expertise: Proven track record in Inside Sales or Digital Sales, with a passion for leveraging virtual tools to manage full sales cycles.
- ASEAN Market Awareness: Experience navigating the diverse Japanese industrial landscape, with an ability to adapt value propositions to different markets.
- Technical & Analytical Prowess: Strong ability to acquire deep product expertise, analyze market insights, and challenge/support customers with technical credibility.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional fluency in Japanese is mandatory; additional regional language proficiency (e.g., English) is highly advantageous.
- Target-Driven Mindset: Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a high-performance environment where success is measured by clear, tangible outcomes.
