Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as an Intelligent Automation Specialist.

The Intelligent Automation Specialist partners with business stakeholders, SMEs, and the GBS Global Intelligent Automation Manager to identify, shape, and deliver high value automation opportunities across the enterprise. The role translates business needs into clear requirements and process flows, then designs and implements solutions that improve productivity, quality, and customer/employee experience.

The role focuses on executing value-centered automation initiatives by analyzing and designing process workflows, and by building, testing, and implementing intelligent automation solutions. The primary focus will be on process automation using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, to deliver scalable and business-driven automation outcomes.

The Intelligent Automation Specialist will also leverage other automation technologies, such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to address more complex use cases.

The Intelligent Automation Specialist will work autonomously, owning end to end delivery from discovery through deployment, while collaborating with global business and functional stakeholders. The role requires a strong team player with the ability to quickly understand business processes, generate innovative automation ideas, adapt to new technologies, and apply strong interpersonal and communication skills to support Huntsman’s evolving intelligent automation strategy.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As An Intelligent Automation Specialist, You Will

Collaborate & coordinate with other automation experts, business users on various automation initiatives for implementation potential by analyzing and designing process workflows

Develop & implement quality automation solutions from gathering the requirements, design, document, test, and final deployment, with scalable & reusable components in mind.

Act as the subject matter expert for automation to others seeking to utilize automation technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business process, serve as expert to both direct team members and business / functional associates

Contribute to building repository of tools, best practice & reusable solutions, and promote the utilization of RPA where possible

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Computer Science / IT Business Application with at least 3 years of working experience

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, including building and configuring agents and integrating them with business processes and data

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in developing major business automation solutions in Microsoft Power Platform and/or RPA technologies

Automation Anywhere (preferred), any RPA software experience is a strong advantage

Hands-on experience in developing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power App, Power Automate, and Power BI

Experience SAP scripting and VBA is a strong plus

SAP ERP and / or SAP Business Objects experience is a plus

Multinational Organization Experience Strongly Preferred

Must have aptitude towards technology and analysis

Must be detail oriented and able to master a large breadth of information

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

Be flexible with working schedule as part of a global organization

Certificate related to RPA is a plus

Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during employment.
