Intern - Digitalization (AI Project Management)

Job Summary

We are seeking an AI Project Management Intern with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our team that leads the implementation of AI & digitalization companywide. As part of the AI & digitalization team in Gamuda Land, our objective is to develop, test, and deploy AI & other innovative solutions across the company, focusing on improving customer experience & operational efficiencies. One of our key responsibilities is to work closely with different business units to align on requirements for deploying bespoke AI solutions. This role provides the opportunity to learn and expand one’s skills in software development lifecycle (SDLC), integrating AI into operational workflows and managing different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

You will work under the supervision of Senior Digitalization Manager to support:

• End to end project management tasks like formulating, organizing, and monitoring multiple interconnected projects in ensuring smooth progression and desired outcomes within the given project timelines.

• Collaborate with different business units and stakeholders to identify operational challenges and determine how AI can address these issues or optimize workflows.

• Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies and resolving issues efficiently.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation and proper archiving of all project materials.

• Conduct R&D on the latest AI tools and software to enhance Gamuda’s AI initiatives.

• Provide technical support to end users to ensure effective adoption of new AI tools and platforms.

• Adhere to all company policies concerning Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards relevant to the job scope and workplace.

• Other duties that may occasionally be assigned by the Management.

Qualification and Experience

• Fresh grads or university students currently pursuing degrees in Information Technology, Information Services, Computer Science or equivalents.

• Minimum CGPA of 3.00

Skills & Abilities

• Good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding in project management tasks like requirement gathering, project monitoring & user testing.

• Basic understanding in project management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello etc.)

• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms, databases and APIs.

• Familiarity with general AI concepts, including how large language models work and the data pre-processes involved.
