We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Intern to join our team. To perform tasks in line with clearly defined policies and procedures and under guidance/instruction of a senior accountant, to support function of Accounts Payable team and to ensure accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in accounting, be highly organized, disciplined, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate business rules and process types triggered by the system for invoice processing.

  • Allocate generic emails to respective team members for processing invoices.

  • Check and upload invoices accurately into the accounting system.

  • Register new vendors to the invoice upload platform.

  • Arrange and upload finalized SOPs to the team’s Confluence page.

  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

  • Assist with month-end close procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field is a plus.
