Internship IT Infra & Security

Job Summary

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, servers, cloud services, security controls, and end-user computing environment. The role ensures the availability, reliability, performance, and security of IT systems while providing technical support to users and supporting business operations through effective IT service delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Network Support: Manages and maintains the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• System Support: Responsible for managing servers, operating systems, and system software, and ensures necessary configurations and security measures are in place to facilitate access controls.
• Service Support: Assists end users with technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and other IT-related problems. Provides guidance to users in navigating and using various IT systems, applications, and tools, including software installations, account setups, password resets, and other user-related inquiries.
• Security Support: Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls, monitoring network activities, conducting risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, and assessing compliance with internal policies and best practices.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Education Background: Degree/Diploma in Information Technology (IT), Networking, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
• Competency/Skills/Abilities: Strong digital literacy with knowledge of networking, server administration, virtualization (VM), cloud computing, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge/Exposure: Hands-on exposure to AWS, NAS, Windows Server, Linux operating systems, network infrastructure, system administration, and IT security best practices.
