Investment Support Executive

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Support Executive to join our team at RHB Islamic International Asset Management Berhad. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, coordinating, and managing matters related to investment activities for the Islamic investment team. You will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Equity Fund Managers, and Sukuk Fund Managers in preparing fund performance reports, client presentations, and investment-related documentation. You will also serve as the key liaison for Shariah-related matters, ensuring effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare and compile meeting materials and documentation for the Board of Directors Meeting, Investment Committee Meeting, and Management Committee Meeting
• Prepare and compile fund performance reports and presentation materials for selected clients, including monthly and quarterly reporting
• Maintain and prepare fund fact sheets by gathering market information, technical data, and fund performance metrics
• Act as the Shariah Liaison Officer, coordinating and communicating Shariah-related matters with the Group, Shariah Advisor, and Shariah Committee
• Compile investment and performance data and prepare short-term and long-term Fund Performance Reports
• Prepare monthly compliance checklists for selected private mandates to support regulatory and internal compliance requirements
• Support the investment team through administrative duties, including meeting coordination, scheduling, filing, and document management
• Work closely with the CIO, Fund Managers, and team members to ensure timely execution of assigned tasks and reporting requirements
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the CIO, Fund Managers, or team members
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Prior experience in investment operations, asset management, fund administration, investment support, or a related field is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of Islamic finance, Shariah principles, and asset management practices will be an added advantage
