Key Accounts Coordinator

The Key Accounts Coordinator is responsible for the entire logistics cycle of company solutions to the assigned client. They lead the client’s account in a collaborative and integrated approach while ensuring that the client’s needs and expectations are met daily.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Receive pre-alerts, concerns, complains, etc., from clients.
- Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal team.
- Book, arrange and prepare for customers meetings (face to face / Skype / Web Meeting / etc).
- Perform business development visits & calls to appropriate contacts within existing and prospect customers, according to the agreed activity KPIs and sales processes.
- Prepare for bids, offers & RFQs, with full support from Sales Support, Projects Team, Management and the Business Development Unit, to ensure that we meet agreed customer deadlines respectively.
- Follow each customer interaction, to ensure complete and current client information, such as pipeline value, supply chains, decision makers, and all relevant record communications in general.
- Establish appropriate relationships and communicate with other key functional areas such as Road, Sea, Air, Operations, Finance, Sales Support etc.
- Directly responsible for all inbound and outbound cargo movement, through re-porting, coordination, and support where necessary.
- Peruse and ensure documents are under contract, incoterms rule, shipper, consignee, HS Code, ECCN, UN, license required, MSDS, etc.
- Ensure pre-alerts and documents are uploaded into Compass Tracking, Share Drive Folder, or other tracking or reporting platform.
- Always be solution driven and develop relationships with all stakeholders.
- Be proactive in dealing with urgencies, high priority shipments and situations.
- Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs presentations to respective internal and external clients.
- Ensure SOPs are updated, aligned, and adhered to.
- Develop sustainable method improvements.
- Always develop and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
- Practice a lean and agile way of working.
- Follow HSSEQ guidelines and internal policies.

- Have a strong customer focus and a natural approach to customer care, communication, and customer retention.
- Perform customer follow-up giving the customers a professional service.

Qualifications and competencies
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Knowledge of Import and Export Customs Regulations
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in Freight Forwarding would be an asset
- Complete understanding of BWS value
- Ability to communicate and manage in a respectful yet efficient manner
