Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

• Carry out tests in the laboratory as per the SOPs available and help to send reports to Lab Supervisor.

• Plan tests to be carried out and assist the Lab Supervisor and Chemists in ensuring that the work of the laboratory proceeds smoothly

• Participate in Proficiency Testing

• Maintain and control the laboratory documentation and housekeeping.

• Carry out moisture and size testing as per method

• Work within allocated frame

• To report immediately to Laboratory Supervisor of any problem / irregularities

• To maintain good communication with customer.

• To uphold Company’s dignity at all times

• To maintain and good care of documents, records, files, office and assets

• To assist Lab Supervisor / Lab staffs to updating customers.

• To reply to customer enquiries where and when necessary.

• Perform any other related duties that the higher authority may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor’s Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering field or equivalent..

• One year of working experience, but fresh graduate may be considered.

• Experience handling laboratory instruments

• Preferably has exposure /attended training related to laboratory instruments by external training provider.

• Able to work in a team.
