Our HR Services run e.g. the payroll for more than 350.000 employees within DHL Group working in 28 countries across the globe. They also offer time & attendance management, employee data administration and reporting, travel & expense processing, and other services.

For our APAC HR Services organization, we are looking for a Manager, Employee Services & Operations based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations leader who enjoys leading teams, improving service delivery and transforming processes.

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Job Purpose:

• You will lead a team of approximately 16–18 colleagues responsible for employee data and HR administration services
• Your focus will be on people leadership, operational excellence, service quality and continuous improvement
  
  
  

Your tasks:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 16–18 employees
• Set clear priorities and create accountability for delivery and service quality
• Ensure employee data is handled accurately, securely and in line with relevant data
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in employee records
• Maintain appropriate operational controls and identify and resolve data or process issues
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma principles
• Support automation and digitalization through workflows, RPA, AI and other appropriate technologies
• Work closely with HR Technology/IT teams to improve systems, reporting and service delivery
• Build strong relationships with HR, technology and business stakeholders
• Understand service needs and translate them into practical operational improvements
• Use data, KPIs and feedback to continuously improve the employee experience and service quality
  
  
  

Your profile:

Education Level

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR, Business or related field

Experience Level

• At least 3 years of people leadership experience ideally in shared services, HR Operations, GBS, Business Services or another structured service-delivery environment
• Experience leading and developing operational teams. Experience managing a sizeable team would be highly valuable
• Strong operational management skills, including experience with KPIs, service delivery, quality, workload management and continuous improvement
• Exposure to HR processes, employee services, HR administration, employee data, payroll, HR systems or related HR operations
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities
  
  
  

Good to have:

• Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Oracle or similar systems
• Experience with employee/master data management
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or another continuous-improvement methodology
• Exposure to automation, RPA, workflows or digital transformation
