Summary
HID Global is seeking a Material Handler III to join our operation team in Johor, Malaysia. The Material Handler III is responsible for efficient and accurate handling of inbound and outbound materials, inventory control, and compliance with company standards. This role ensures smooth warehouse operations to support production and shipping activities, meeting delivery, quality, and lead-time targets while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Summary
HID Global is seeking a Material Handler III to join our operation team in Johor, Malaysia. The Material Handler III is responsible for efficient and accurate handling of inbound and outbound materials, inventory control, and compliance with company standards. This role ensures smooth warehouse operations to support production and shipping activities, meeting delivery, quality, and lead-time targets while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
As our MATERIAL HANDLER III , you’ll support HID’s success by:
Inbound & Outbound Handling
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and documentation.
- Prepare and stage outbound shipments for timely dispatch in coordination with the Shipping team.
- Receive and Move Materials: Safely unload incoming goods, verify against documentation, and transport to designated storage areas.
- Stock Organization: Arrange materials systematically to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval.
- Support Production & Shipping: Deliver raw materials and finished goods to production lines and shipping zones as per schedule.
- Maintain Accuracy: Update ERP or inventory system promptly after each material movement to ensure real-time stock visibility.
- Prevent Damage: Handle materials carefully to avoid breakage, contamination, or loss.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems; perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Optimize space utilization and ensure proper labelling and storage of materials.
- Adhere to company SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for warehouse operations
- Support audits and maintain documentation for LMW/VAA compliance where applicable.
- Collaborate with Production Control, Trade Compliance, and Customer Service to meet fulfilment goals.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and security of warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Report any equipment issues promptly for corrective action
- Operate Forklift Safely: Drive and manoeuvre forklifts in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations.
- Load/Unload Shipments: Lift, stack, and position pallets or heavy items for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Pre-Operation Checks: Inspect forklift daily for fuel, battery, brakes, and safety features; report any defects immediately.
- Follow Traffic Rules: Adhere to warehouse traffic flow, speed limits, and designated forklift lanes.
- Secure Loads: Ensure loads are balanced and secured before lifting or transporting to prevent accidents.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and inventory control processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified or able to obtain certification to operate different types of forklifts
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to write in English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and Agile platforms
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines.
- Must be a flexible, decisive and proactive problem solver
- Must be capable of proposing & implementing new ideas regarding simplification and improvement to business processes
- Must be a strong communicator and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple priorities at once
- Must be a team player, dependable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Support operations in the daily process of fulfilling production orders.
- Has desire to provide the customer with the highest quality products.
