Job Summary

The AI & Automation Lead will drive company AI roadmap, ensuring successful rollout of automation initiatives across back-office operations, supply chain, and enterprise functions. This role is central to maturing company AI capability across framework, data, and security layers before scaling adoption. The leader will balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring investments deliver measurable ROI and align with company transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment

• Create the AI Strategy - Figure out where AI can help the most. Translate company AI roadmap into actionable initiatives across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
• Focus on high-value automation use cases (e.g. HR ops, finance ops, supply chain) that replace external spend and deliver immediate ROI.
• Drive AI adoption in alignment with the overall digital transformation roadmap, working collaboratively with the Head of Digital Transformation.
  
  

Technology Development & Implementation

• Solution, delivery, and identify opportunities
• R&D and overall thought leadership for AI & Automation - Trends & research
• Oversee integration of enterprise-grade AI tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) based on role requirements and ROI.
  
  

Governance & Risk Management

• Framework, governance and educate.
• Establish AI usage guidelines and guardrails to mitigate risks (security, data exposure, dependency).
• Put guardrails in place. Ensure the AI obeys laws, protects private data and acts safely.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards.
• Monitor system performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
  
  

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• The advocate and the evenglist
• Build and grow the AI & Automation Team.
• Provide AI literacy and safety training across the organization, with tiered access based on role.
• Partner with external vendors and hyperscalers to accelerate adoption.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business units to embed AI into daily operations.
• Communicate roadmap progress and ROI to senior leadership.
• Drive change management and adoption through roadshows and internal campaigns.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, enterprise environment, AI and automation with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Proven success in deploying AI/automation solutions with measurable ROI.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere), ML frameworks, AI tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in enterprise AI adoption, governance, and vendor partnerships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
