Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of plastic materials and tooling processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, PTC Creo (Pro/E), CATIA, Siemens NX (Unigraphics), or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Able to work in Senai, Johor.
- Design, develop, and realize mechanical components and assemblies for assigned product development projects in accordance with customer requirements, project specifications, and timelines.
- Ensure project development objectives are achieved in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Define and establish specifications, dimensions, and tolerances for mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, tooling, quality, and project management, to resolve design-related issues and ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations to support product development activities.
