As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. Your primary objective is to drive and grow the reefer product by developing a strategy to gain and retain customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives

How you create impact

• To ensure your local product strategy aligns with the regional strategy + fits the local market.
• To build a local operational structure with reefer dedication within the customer + operational care locations (CCL + OCC) that creates + maintains reefer expertise, aiming for zero operational failures for temperature sensitive cargo.
• To ensure profitability across the profit + loss statement (P+L), proactively following up on discrepancies.
• To manage local carrier relationships; ensuring access to appropriate escalation channels.
• To take the lead in local reefer pricing in coordination with the regional reefer trade manager.
• To build a reefer development team and support the KAM team and field sales where needed.
• To take the lead in setting up or maintaining a GxP Pharma branch to ensure operational excellence for pharmaceutical clients where demand exists.
• To provide regular reefer training
  
  

What we would like you to bring

• Reefer operations knowledge – Skilled in refrigerated container handling and monitoring.
• Cold chain cargo experience – Proven ability to manage perishable shipments with strict temperature control.
• Customer focus – Strong communication and service orientation with clients and carriers.
• Leadership – Experience supervising teams and guiding operational staff.
• Compliance awareness – Knowledge of shipping standards, food safety, and reefer documentation.
• Problem solving – Ability to resolve issues quickly and provide accurate reporting.
• System proficiency – Familiar with reefer monitoring platforms and logistics tools.
