Network/System Engineer

Position Overview

Elcome is seeking experienced and highly motivated Network/System Engineers to join its Connectivity team. Two full-time positions are available: one based in Canada, and one based in Malaysia. Both positions will provide remote technical support to Elcome’s operations and report functionally to Elcome Dubai.

Location Requirements

Candidates must be based in Canada or Malaysia (depending on the assigned position), able to support business functions in the respective regional time zone, and coordinate effectively with Elcome Dubai.

The selected candidates will support regional business functions while working closely with the Dubai Head Office. The role includes solution testing, system integration support, technical troubleshooting, operational coordination, and documentation. This position requires a technically competent professional who can work independently, manage issues end-to-end, and communicate effectively with both regional teams and the Dubai Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Test, validate, and evaluate new hardware and software solutions for performance, reliability, and suitability.
• Support system integration activities and ensure smooth interoperability across platforms and technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve network, server, and system-related issues, ensuring timely analysis, escalation, and resolution to support remote operations.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to development initiatives, proof-of-concepts, solution testing, and technical documentation.
• Support the Elcome NOC team with network monitoring, issue escalation, troubleshooting, and operational coordination as required.
• Coordinate with Elcome Dubai Head Office and the assigned regional office (Canada or Malaysia) to support projects, operational activities, and technical requirements.
• Follow security best practices, company policies, and relevant industry standards in all technical activities.
• Provide clear technical guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to internal stakeholders and regional teams.
