Nutritional Executive (Southern)

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical marketing initiatives, develop educational materials, and engage with healthcare stakeholders. The team also includes specialist roles that contribute to internal and external training programs, with opportunities to represent the company as a speaker at professional events and educational sessions.

This position is based in Johor Bahru and offers excellent exposure to the healthcare and nutrition industry, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute medical marketing activities within the assigned territory and ensure alignment with overall medical marketing strategies and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, government agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), professional associations, and other relevant stakeholders to support business growth and strengthen the company's presence.
• Ensure all activities conducted within healthcare institutions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable ethical codes and guidelines.
• Provide timely market intelligence and updates to the Regional Nutrition Manager (RNM) on sales performance, distribution, market trends, competitive activities, promotional initiatives, and other factors that may impact the business.
• Deliver effective scientific and product-related presentations to healthcare professionals, demonstrating strong product knowledge and the ability to position the company's products against competitor offerings.
• Drive and enhance Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) within the assigned territory to achieve sustainable business growth and market share expansion.
• Support educational programs, product launches, workshops, seminars, and other medical marketing initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and engagement among healthcare professionals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutrition, medical device, or FMCG industry.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of healthcare institutions, key healthcare stakeholders, and the healthcare ecosystem. Experience engaging with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate scientific and product-related information to healthcare professionals.
• Customer-oriented, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and a proven ability to identify opportunities and drive market share growth.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Possess a valid driving license, own transportation, and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
