In this hands-on role, you support end-users, maintain local infrastructure, and contribute to continuous improvements in IT operations. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you resolve technical issues and help keep systems and networks stable. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Deliver 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software issues, ensuring fast and reliable solutions for end-users.
- Analyze incidents, manage tickets (e.g., ServiceNow), and maintain clear communication with users throughout the resolution process.
- Handle installation, configuration, and upgrades of workstations, software, and peripherals in line with company standards.
- Identify and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, VPN), collaborating with specialized teams when needed.
- Oversee local IT asset inventory and support the lifecycle management of hardware and software.
- Contribute to the rollout of centrally driven IT projects and create practical documentation, user guides, and improvement suggestions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Several years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
- Fluent German and solid English skills for daily communication in an international environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems and structured IT service processes.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset combined with strong collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
