Operative Technician

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to tanker truck drivers at Tank Truck Loading Rack
• Carry out product sampling & testing as per requirement
• Carry out correct valve and pump line-up for POME, additives and LPG bulk operations
• Carry out general housekeeping duties, maintenance of work area for cleanliness. Ensure that it is free of spills or debris. Keep loading racks and surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times
• Carry out minor repairs and periodic (daily/monthly) equipment inspection
• Actively participate in Fire Drills as laid down in Fire Orders and other Safey/Health activities
• Observe safety rules and regulation in discharging duties
• Assist Operations Assistant in daily operational activities and receipt of B100 into storage tanks. Support weekly and month end Palm Oil Metyl Esther (POME) & additive tank dipping as and when require
• Perform other related duties as directed by Operations Assistant and Assistant Terminal Manager from time to time
• Active involvement in ISO/POIMS (Executor)/ILC/IMS/5S/LMS
  
  

We are looking for candidates with these qualifications:

• Diploma / Technical Certificate in a relevant engineering field is a minimum requirement
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field or equivalent
• Demonstrates initiative, strong interpersonal skills, industriousness, and effective communication proficiency
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Willing to work at Port Dickson Terminal
