Payroll Coordinator

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Assure accuracy of ADP time and balance hours worked to production data system.
• Contact various department supervisors for any missed times.
• Full understanding of Samtec’s attendance policy and will be responsible for notifying management/HR when attendance occurrences occur through ADP attendance.
• Process weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP.
• Assist in payroll discrepancies from production data and hours paid incorrectly. Responsible for turning in revisions to payroll.
• Work with payroll closely regarding payroll deadlines and discrepancies.
• Daily data entry responsibilities consist of editing production data, responsible for data accuracy and will monitor production reports for incorrect entries.
• Compile internal management reports from production system software.
• Assist in ADP system questions.
  
  

Required Experience

• 2 – 5 years Payroll Time & Attendance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have good organizational and communications skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Must have good time management skills and can change priorities quickly.
• Minimum number of years of experience in similar roles or jobs.
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
  
  

Education

• Associates Degree in Business or Human Resources.
• Experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
