PCB Design Engineer

Introduction

Nexperia’ s Analog and Logic Test Product Engineering team are looking for bright minded, energetic, highly independent and talented engineers to join us. The role is based in Seremban.

PCB Design Engineer - Roles and Responsibilities

• Has track record in designing PCB’s for the ATE device interface boards (DIBs)/loadboard and sound knowledge on probe card design, must have knowledge on probe card and load board placement.
• Guide and review board design work with internal and external customers.
• Must have good understanding of the PCB design concepts and the knowledge of how to create component ECAD library footprints and/or symbols as required for design projects and be able to pass down this knowledge to the design engineers.
• Must have component level understanding to be able to provide best performing PCB design.
• Good understading of socket design concepts and abrest of latest concepts as well as knowledge of vendor capability.
• Strong understanding of different contacting technologies for the semiconductor ICs
• Must be able to work on project planning for the team,lead the team as well as take up design projects.
• To be apart of an internal strong PCB design review teams.
• Must be able to work with Test and Product engineers and suppliers to complete projects on time, accurately, and within budget
• Understands semiconductor, FAB and assembly processes
• Electronic circuit design knowledge in analog and digital is a plus
• Need to have good understading on SI & PI knowledge
• To develop & manage repository data base of all projects and designs.
• PDN ( Power delivery network ) software knowledge will be an advantage.

Qualified Candidates Must Have

• 
  Knowledge and competencies on high speed, high power and low leakage board designs and development.
• Demonstrated capability and track record in designing loadboards and probecards.
• Strong skills in PCB design software (Altium Designer would be added advantage)
• Understading and abble to apply design concepts for high speed boards.
• Understanding Logic and Analog device definately an added advantage.
• Good Knowledge of power and signal integrity concepts, Power bypass methods
• Communicates well in English, both verbally and written.
• You are self-driven, you take ownership of your work and you are eager to learn.
• Has high quality standards with do it correct the first time mentality
• Customer focus.
• Possesses analytical skills and ability to apply pragmatic approaches.
• Experienced in load boad and probe card debugging.
• Knowledged on measurement instruments and tools i.e oscilloscope, digital multi meter, soldering knowledge will be added advantage.

Requirements

• Experiance minimum 3 years.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Analog & Logic, device experience will be an added benefit.

Preferred Soft Skills

• Candidate to be technically inclined and to have excellent problem solving skills.
• Able to build good relationships between cross functional teams.
• Fast learner and needs to be self-motivated.
